Rogue One: A Star Wars Story New Logo Revealed?
Some of the guys over at MakingStarWars have spotted an eBay listings which seems to have revealed a new logo for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The items being sold are reportedly crew and cast gift items, featuring a bag with a Rogue One logo. Although the logo hasn’t been released officially, and there’s always the chance this is an elaborate hoax, but this seems fairly legitimate, and that “Go Rogue” makes for a great slogan for the films promotion.
The listing says “the bespoke duffel bag was specially commissioned for the cast and crew of the latest Star Wars film, Rogue One. It has been expertly hand-made by Tombag of East Sussex. The brand’s military roots are immediately apparent in the solid brass hardware, durable waxed canvas material and unique top loader design.”
The bag has a modified version of the Rebel Starbird, which has been the traditional emblem of the Rebel Alliance and now the Resistance. The wings point just shy of the “beak” of the emblem as seen on the material, and the beak is one straight point, as well. “Go Rogue” is written underneath the emblem in Aurebesh, the written language of the Star Wars universe, while above it says “Star Wars Rogue One Cast & Crew 2015,” lending authenticity to the claim.
