Lucasfilm has just revealed the new ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Theatrical poster and the promise of a new trailer that ILM have been hard at work on, which will debut on Good Morning America on ABC.

Most of you will undoubtedly get excited by seeing Darth Vader’s mask in the top right corner, and I suppose there’s some sort of nice overlaying artistry involved to visually blend Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso into the Death Star plans, but when you step back, it looks like a lot of the other standard ‘studio’ posters and doesn’t create the classic colourful themes of a Star Wars poster. Let’s hope the trailer will present us with some more compelling imagery when it arrives.
