This weekend consisted of some beautiful walks in probably the two finest City Park’s Leeds has to offer, Temple Newsam and Roundhay Park. Both of which are in their glorious autumnal best at the moment, so… armed with the trusty camera, ‘Happy’ dog on its lead and a loving wife on my arm we enjoyed their autumn splendour.
Mine is ‘A Fathers Gift to his Son’
This is my first contribution to the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge and is my most treasured plant in the Milner Garden, a Japanese Mapel (Acer palmatumcer) given to me by my father, I hope you like it..I do:)
We all have a favourite plant in our gardens, mine is a Japanese Mapel (Acer palmatumcer). It was given to me by my Dad, who always looks quite enviously at it when calls to visit.
Here are few pics I took of My Favourite Plant.
Bit of Photoshop trickery added to this one
Another favourite is a welcome visitor which has migrated from the neighbours garden, a Chinese Lantern (Physalis alkekengi)
