You know how I love ‘GIF’s’ on MilnersBlog….the Graphics Interchange Format that was originally introduced by CompuServe in 1987, but it’s now truly inspiring how these ‘simple’ GIF Animations are now expanding to really become a new and true art-form, none more so than this typographical one by MountStar, a Motion Graphic Designer and 3D Illustrator from Fukuoka in Japan who is seriously ‘raising-the-bar’ in the field of Digital GIF animations, especially with his latest project Hidden Typography
You probably already know my love for the re-emergence of
Animated GIF’s in the Digital form, but check out these truly cutting edge
animated gif’s by Brooklyn-based trio The Saline Project.
They’ve created this new art project that sees them looking to evolve
the gif format to something they’re now calling 3D lenticular…
Boston-based Motion Graphics Designer and an aspiring Game Developer Matthew DiVito has created these memorising geometric Animated GIFS which are almost hypnotic to watch, the quality of his visual language images is such that they can almost be classed as short animations in their own right. He creates them mostly in Cinema 4D After Effects and Photoshop to save to the final GIF.
