With the current LucasFilm marketing engine in full swing, they’ve just launched a vast amount of stickers which is available to buy at FatHead, but yet again with this current media push, the characters of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia are still not present, this seems to be part of J.J Abram’s secretive nature to keep these characters under wraps, even Star Wars actor Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) said recently “The secrecy has been ludicrous”
The most notable insignia is the The Alliance Starbird or the Phoenix used by the Rebel Alliance, and most often observed on Rebel pilot helmets. Furthermore the symbol also resembled the emblem of the Jedi Order. The Alliance Starbird has also been incorporated into organizations and units linked to the Rebellion such as the Rogue
Squadron crest, the Insignia of the New Republic and most recently The Resistance in Star Wars The Force Awakens in Poe Dameron’s Black Squadron.
